Academic Regulations · 2026–27
Clear rules.
Recorded decisions.
These regulations govern admission, assessment, progression, academic integrity, complaints, and appeals across all Collegium studies.
01Admission & enrolment
+
- Admission is a recorded academic decision, separate from membership and payment.
- An offer may specify prerequisites, orientation, cohort, or start deadline.
- False or materially misleading application information may void an offer after review.
02Assessment & grading
+
- Criteria and grade scale must be published before submission.
- Faculty must return substantive feedback within the stated window.
- Moderation samples consequential or borderline decisions.
03Extensions & deferral
+
- A student should request an extension before the deadline when possible.
- Accessibility adjustments and acute circumstances are considered separately from ordinary time management.
- Deferred work receives a new written deadline and conditions.
04Academic integrity
+
- Undisclosed plagiarism, fabrication, impersonation, contract cheating, or prohibited assistance triggers formal review.
- A student receives the allegation and evidence and may respond before a finding.
- Outcomes are proportionate to seriousness, intent, repetition, and educational context.
05Progression & standing
+
- Progression considers completion, required outcomes, attendance, conduct, and any specified prerequisites.
- Academic concern begins with a written improvement plan wherever appropriate.
- Suspension or dismissal requires a recorded decision and appeal route.
06Complaints & academic appeals
+
- A complaint concerns service, conduct, or administration; an academic appeal challenges an eligible academic decision.
- Disagreement with academic judgment alone is not an appeal ground, but procedural error, bias, material new evidence, or unreasonable application of regulation may be.
- A reviewer not responsible for the original decision handles the formal stage.
