We preserve the raw, practical, and uncompromising application of magick without subordinating the Syllabus to secular government boards. Independence allows a serious academy of occult history and practice to set its own exacting intellectual and initiatory standards.
Institutional position
Formation,
not credentialism.
Because we refuse to water down practical magick to satisfy secular government boards, we operate independently. Compared with four-year institutional benchmarks, our annual structure can save a student more than $30,000 in bureaucratic university overhead while keeping the curriculum raw, functional, and uncompromised.
We do not grant degrees for corporate employment. We confer internal distinctions of Mastery for systemic initiation, supported by a documented Syllabus, supervised practice, formal assessment, Thesis work, and Viva Voce examination.
Academic method

Cohort
Seven to ten students work through sustained study with accountable participation and serious disagreement.
Tutorial
A designated Adept supervises ritual journals, projects, research development, and the eventual Thesis.
Examination
Written work, practical demonstration, and Viva Voce establish whether claimed competence can withstand examination.

Collegium Arcanum is an independent, unaccredited private educational academy. Its diplomas and distinctions are internal awards of the Collegium: they are not government-recognized degrees, professional licenses, or qualifications for regulated employment.
