Fourteen calendar days
A consumer may cancel an initial admission fee, class, course, program, monthly plan, or annual plan within 14 calendar days after purchase. Collegium will return the amount paid to the original payment method. This contractual promise does not shorten a longer mandatory right.
If the consumer expressly asks a live service to begin during that window and instruction has already been delivered, Collegium may deduct a proportionate amount for the live service supplied only where local law permits and the required pre-purchase consent was obtained. No deduction is made merely for opening an account page.
Subscriptions and renewals
A recurring plan can be canceled at any time through the online account control or by emailing billing@collegiumarcanum.com. Cancellation stops the next charge and access continues through the paid period unless the user requests immediate closure.
A renewal charge may be refunded when requested within 14 calendar days of renewal. Collegium may deduct live instruction already delivered after renewal where law permits. The academy must send renewal or price-change notices required in the user’s jurisdiction and may not create a subscription through a pre-checked box or hidden term.
Academy cancellation, material changes, and defects
If Collegium cancels a paid event or cannot supply the purchased service, the consumer may choose a full refund for the undelivered item or accept a clearly offered replacement. If a multi-session course or program is permanently ended, the refund covers the undelivered portion plus any additional amount mandatory law requires.
Nothing here limits remedies for misdescription, faulty digital content, unauthorized charges, breach of contract, or other legally protected defects. Expulsion for misconduct does not erase non-waivable refund rights; after the 14-day window, any additional voluntary refund is assessed against undelivered services and documented costs, without imposing an unlawful penalty.
Regional protections
United Kingdom
Distance consumers generally receive a 14-day cancellation period. Collegium will provide required pre-contract information and a durable confirmation. A UK consumer loses a digital-content cancellation right before the period ends only after giving the legally required express request for immediate supply and acknowledgment; a pre-checked box is not used. Mandatory Consumer Rights Act remedies remain available.
Canada
The 14-day academy window applies throughout Canada. Provincial distance-sale and internet-agreement rights also apply, including cancellation rights triggered by missing disclosures, missing contract copies, late delivery, misrepresentation, or other statutory defects. Where provincial law requires a longer period or a faster refund, that rule controls.
United States
The 14-day academy window applies throughout the United States in addition to non-waivable federal and state rights. Recurring terms require affirmative consent, a retained acknowledgment, required reminders or change notices, and a simple cancellation method. A state rule that gives a consumer greater protection controls.
How refunds are requested and paid
Email billing@collegiumarcanum.com from the account email with the order number and the item to cancel, or use the cancellation control in the account. No reason is required within the 14-day window. Requests are acknowledged within three business days.
Approved refunds are submitted to PayPal within five business days. The payer’s bank or PayPal may take additional time to post funds. Any shorter mandatory deadline controls. Refusing a refund never prevents a consumer from using a regulator, court, or other remedy available by law.
